We have renovated a shop located in Queensbury, NY. We are by appointment only.
Our Sasquatch Koozies are made with genuine fur that is ethically sourced and professionally tanned. Natural fur insulates and a neoprene liner ensures your fur stays clean and dry and adds to insulation! Unlike others out there, our koozies have sewn in liners to prevent movement inserting/removing your beverage, and features customizable bottom and trim options!

Naturally Wild Taxidermy was established in Alaska. After many successful years we relocated to our home state of New York for a short time. We are currently making our way back to Alaska and will update with future plans! We continue to serve all states, however proper documentation will be required to be shown prior to receiving work. Be sure to adhere to your state laws regarding fish and game. We look forward to creating a custom mount for you!
There's a story behind every trophy. No two stories are the same. You remember the weather, the smells, how your heart pounded when that animal stepped into range, the long haul back to civilization. When you tell your friends and family the tale of your fishing or hunting adventure you spare no detail; we won't either... Allow Naturally Wild Taxidermy to preserve that memory for a lifetime.

Sam grew up just outside the Adirondack Park in upstate New York, where she developed a love for hunting and fishing at a young age after spending many weekends at her family’s hunting camps. In 2009, she moved to Alaska and embraced the many adventures of the Last Frontier. There, Sam quickly distinguished herself in the taxidermy industry and went on to open Naturally Wild Taxidermy.
Sam continued to expand her skills by becoming a fur sewer (furrier), practicing traditional Alaskan techniques and developing custom patterns designed to withstand subzero temperatures. She is also the owner of Naturally Wild Furs, where she creates functional, handcrafted fur garments rooted in both tradition and performance.
After a decade in Alaska, Sam and her husband returned to the East Coast to continue their work in the Adirondacks. Deeply dedicated to her crafts, Sam has mastered both the arts of taxidermy and fur sewing. She specializes in North American wildlife, including Alaska big game, as well as African and exotic species.
After the loss of her father, Sam and Josh now split their time between upstate New York and Alaska, practicing taxidermy and fur sewing from coast to coast.
Sam has been featured in Hunt Alaska Magazine as one of the best taxidermists in Alaska, in the Anchorage Daily Newsas one of the best female taxidermists in the state, and has spoken on public radio about new techniques in the taxidermy world. When you bring your trophy to Naturally Wild Taxidermy, you can trust that you will receive a natural, lifelike mount to proudly display in your home for years to come.
